Design – Scientific designs, extremely customized/personalized, our requirement gathering approach many times helps customer understand their own emotions and realize/imagine their dream home/space/office.
-Approach towards Client: The design must reflect and express to customer. In order to do that we go to the last micro thread of each member of our customer to understand their personal needs and space. We ask them, if you close your eyes and imaging your best space, what do you see. We shall create it for you. We love ensuring customer has fantastic experience with us when they outsource it to us in terms of complete project management, budget advice, budget management etc.
Most important, humanity is focal point of our business and that helps us to empathize and think through deeper and get ideas for external and internal customers (our employees)
Budget – We guide and advise customer on budget. We help further in budget management by wise/smart designs, improvisation and innovation in designs e.g. Give different options of a design with multiple cost options and clear Pros and Cons.
Themes – Our themes are mostly based on customer lifestyle, beliefs, values and culture. Beyond this, we offer designs on different themes such as Victorian, Lucknowi style, Chettinad style, Contemporary designs, Homes themes that enable home office, Office designs for millennials, office designs for brand enrichment.
Sourcing – We work on outsourced model for our customers. It means customers have to just freely share all their needs, requirements and aspiration for dream home, office or space and sit back, relax and see their dreams taking shape virtually and then taking shape in reality, as we literally own the home/office till we make their dream designs reality and handover.
What are the main challenges that you have to work around as an interior designer?
We are in the space of extremely personalized home and office designs and this sometimes becomes boundaryless, infinite and unlimited especially when every project is time bound and has to be delivered within limited and definitive timeline, however lack of clarity, in definitiveness, customer inability to tell their requirements clarity, frequent changes etc keep us always on toes and pose lot of challenges.
What Technology you use in different aspects of Interior Designing in your firm?
- Designs: We use all advanced software tools to create 2D and 3D designs to ensure customers get to see their home or office before it is made. Our 3D designs are almost 80% real to actual
- Execution: We are working on automating end to end process thru automation tool of estimation, production cutting list, installation list and inspection.
- Project Quality : We use extensive checklist to ensure quality check in every stage of projects
- Google collaboration tools: We use collaboration tools available in google to track schedule, progress etc with customers and internal team. Also it is used to share our design inventory with our customers for them to browse through.
- Communication Tools: Whatsapp is used for quick collaboration and communication and outlook is used for formal communication.
What kind of Maintenance and Support is provided by HCD?
After the handover of the site (residential or commercial) –we provide lifelong support to all our clients , 1st year –Labor charge is free ,only the material cost will be incurred if not under warranty and from 2nd year onwards -Labor charges will apply along with Material cost.
What is the Typical Time line followed by HCD for Design and Execution phase?
Do we provide only design services?
Yes, we Provide design services with following deliverables
- Unlimited sittings, discussions and design edits till the requirements are absolutely detailed in the designs
- Unlimited advices/inputs on concepts to help you crystallize your ideas and requirements
- Colour 3d Drawings for laminate selections and visualization.
- Lighting styling as part of the design and execution.
- Fully assisted and advised variable items purchasing based on the designs/styling/tastes at the best of select shops at the city market for widest ranges of home styling items (Lights, Curtain rods, brackets, bathroom accessories, etc)
- Execution Drawing including Electrical drawing with BOQ-Bill of Qty

No we don’t just Provide Project Management services alone , We take Project Management along with Execution so we have control on the Quality and on time Delivery

We take greenfield as well as Renovation Projects varying from 5 lacs onwards
If turnkey solution, do we have to contact each vendor directly for maintenance issues?
No, we take care of end-to-end solution including all the Coordination work with the Vendors during both execution phase and maintenance
Can we make changes in the designs during execution phase?
We don’t recommend making changes during the execution phase but if change is must for safety or from a functionality perspective , it has to go through a change management process to be approved by both HCD management and Client as it may impact cost and delivery time . Once Change is approved—it gets Unique CRQ number which is shared with the Execution Team
How do we get daily update of the project?
We maintain a Google sheet which provides project status Room wise at BOQ (Bill of Quantity ) Level which is updated daily and also we share project completion pictures daily in the WhatsApp group.

Do you take projects in other cities?
Yes we take Projects in other cities, we completed Projects in cities like Kolkata ,Chennai and also one project is in progress at Nagpur-Maharashtra
